"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

5.3 miles from work. overcast, warm. not as warm as it has been the last few days but maybe just 3 or four degrees cooler. so really the temps were about the same as they have been for weeks now. and actually it felt about the same. or it would have felt the same if the sun had been out today like it has been the last several days. but today it was not. it was overcast, and a few degrees cooler than yesterday. we're talking fahrenheit here - as opposed to celsius.

You're babbling again. And no one cares. But good job on the mileage! {so far}

I had the same impression of the weather but I stated as about the same air temp without the bright sun. Was this a running post or weather post?

lol! well, since i ran short miles today, i thought i'd try to spice up my blog post with some weather related redundancy.

At least it has been enjoyably redundant.

I am not a fan of overcast skies either. Give me some sunshine! Nice miles this week!!

today (thursday) appears to be about the same as yesterday (which is actually today according to this post, but yesterday according to the calendar).
