4 easy on the treadmill this morning. Feeling tired, running late etc. Hopefully I can run more tonight.

6 miles this evening at the jr high field with the dogs. Happy dogs.

Between the treadmill this morning and running on grass tonight, today was a very low impact day. Kind of nice.

Do you run doubles very often? I am so sluggish in the afternoons. I've really only done a double once. I don't think yesterday counts. Let me know if you have any tips for successful doubles.

I haven't run doubles before. I have done some "back to back " runs where I run in the evening, and then run again the follwing morning. Mentally I like the idea of "singles" better. If I can run 14 miles in one run, rather than two runs of say 8 and 6 miles, I feel more prepared for a marathon etc. However, timing is everything, and if this is the only way to keep my mileage up it's what I'll do. I've read that there are many benefits to running doubles.

I don't generally feel sluggish in the evening, I've always been kind of a night owl. It's the early mornings that are challenging for me...just the opposite of you eh?

I think your workouts yesterday do count as a double. Sounds like some wild weather in the Northwest.
