I've been mulling through the race predictor here on the blog. It puts me right around 3:46 or so for the marathon, which I feel is right, it hits my 5k and half almost dead on. On a perfect day, I should be able to break 3:45. It just wasn't my day last Saturday at TOU. So I feel better about my current fitness being what I've worked towards. Now I just need to figure out why I ran out of juice at TOU. Fuel? Bad taper? Poor hygiene? Monster trucks?

Sounds like a yummy lunch. I just had some dry chicken, string cheese, carrots, celery, grapes, pretzels, and a little piece of dark chocolate. (Seriously. That was my lunch.)

We're both trying to get some publicity for Will. He deserves it.

Carolyn - that actually sounds like a great lunch. I agree about Will. I've been reading his blog for over a year and have gotten a lot of inspiration from his very articulate and well written reports!

Thanks Kelli. Not back to normal, but I do feel good. Laying low this week for sure, then see what next week brings.

Yeah it's nice and chilly in the mornings now. My excuse this week is that I'm recovering from a marathon, so sleep gets priority over early morning runs. I'll have to come up with some new excuses for the coming Winter months.

Carolyn and JD thanks for mentioning Will's report--i needed it. I think from now on when I feel down on my running I'm going to read something run-spiring...(get it hee hee)
