"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

Got out at 10 AM, 75 degrees and sunshine.

Feel better today. Going to take it easy this week, keep it around 50 miles etc., see where I'm at Sunday. Who knows, maybe a couple of weeks of lower mileage is required.

Well, now I have firefox...I'm change resistant...

How about you. 50 miles as an easy week.

I've got to get use to launching Firefox instead of IE, I guess. But I still hope that Sasha gets it to work on IE, because that's all I have at work. Otherwise, you'll only hear from me in the morning and the evening.

Thanks Carolyn. Six or seven months ago I ran my first 50 mile week, now after many 50 mile weeks it almost feels too easy...that being said, I realize that I'm a mere infant in terms of being a consistent runner. My little crash yesterday sort of snapped me back to reality. I've only been doing this kind of training for 10 months. I'm still building a mileage base. My main objective is to avoid injury during this process. It's hard to resist trying to increase the mileage more than I should.

I think Sasha did fix it so you can comment on IE. He explained the problem under "support" on the discussion forum.
