9 miles / 8:38 avg. commute run home. such a relief after the first couple of miles and i realized things were back to normal. i tend to not freak out about all the little niggles, and fluctuations that a runner experiences on a day to day basis, but i was getting pretty concerned yesterday. i've just never experienced three days in a row of barely being able to run 3 or 4 miles out of myself, and having it feel like i was bonking the whole time. i still really have no idea what happened, but today's run felt normal thank goodness. i'm on the road tomorrow and i'll probably only run a couple of miles once i get my camp site set up. then hopefully saturday i'll be able to run some miles, especially given the light load so far this week. also i'll be off line until late sunday...

116 days in a row of running -- i'd say a few days of fatigue is perfectly fine :) i'm glad you bounced back today. enjoy your camping trip. i will dedicate the ripping of van winkle portion of the race to you.
